Wicked is a New England Lifestyle magazine that was created to emphasize and display the variety of activities, businesses, restaurants, views and stories of New England. This specific edition is focused on Maine, and my own personal experiences from living in the state. Within the publication one can find three features relating to concerts at L.L. Bean, my family’s newfound flock of chickens, and my parent’s favorite place to get lobster. There are also two departments focusing on a small business and a local bar. In addition to designing the publication, I used some of my own photography as well as my mother’s, and I illustrated one of the feature articles.

For advanced publication we had to create a magazine and a website based on a topic we are interested in. The topic I chose is the visual arts while urging the user to create in their own sketchbook. The purpose of my pub is to provide sketchbook prompts, workshops, articles, and pattern paper to inspire the user to create freely.
