Service Design

Project 1: United Fabrics

This was a industry sponsored project with United Fabrics. Jefferson collaborators included Industrial Design students and VCD/UX students enrolled in Service Design. United Fabrics identified an opportunity to improve its marketing and sales via the creation of a new customer-engaging sample kit to effectively showcase the Company’s product offerings.

Service Design students launched the project with an end-to-end audit of United Fabrics business, evaluating the various touchpoints and interactions that customers have with the business, as well as the underlying processes and systems that support those interactions. The goal of the audit is to identify areas where the customer experience with UF sample kit could be improved and to make recommendations for changes that would result in a more seamless, enjoyable, and effective touchpoint.
