introduction to graphic design
Freshman Review
Freshman explored visual form, abstraction, communication, and metaphor. Projects include social action posters, a zine, and icon systems.
advanced branding
Junior Review
Juniors took a systems-based approach to branding and identity. Students conceptualize and strategized multi-touchpoint brand systems for an educational entity and an event.
graphic design capstone
Senior Exit Interviews
Seniors created complex, multi-component design projects rooted in a semester-long research process. Students also developed their final portfolios.

Showcase
Juniors and Seniors explored the power of visual communication through image making. Along with weekly sketchbook assignments and inspiration presentations, students focused on style and technique in the Notable Quotable Portrait assignment. They practiced social and cultural reporting in the Editorial Illustration assignment. And, developed their story-telling skills with sequential imagery in the Children’s Books assignment.
