To love or to lust
Lust is ephemeral - but is it? Love is eternal - but are you sure? To lust love and to love lust, without the proper mindset, can leave us injured from the wounds we inflicted upon ourselves - both body and mind. Marilyn Monroe was such a case, to chase love, to chase lust, and to be ignorant to the love for one's self can only bring harm, and ultimate death to the unwary. There's only one way to find the lust that last, and the love that is truly worth living for:
"Lust is ephemeral,

My poster depicts my love of nostalgia and my dichotomous lust for the unknown future. I used imagery from a variety of famous artists: Dali, Magritte, and Klimt to convey my idea, as well as lines from the newspaper and a 60's life magazine.

The feeling of lust is the more easily identifiable in relationships than the idea of love. Although lust usually "shouts" in our faces, we learn how to love first as children without even realizing.

The play on words from "All's fair in love and war" signifies the relation of lust with war. Lust creates a war on your emotions full of anxiety and excitement. The explosion of pinks in the background reenforces the fireworks of a new relationship with someone. These sparks may lead to love.

Pleasure in Every Can you Open
This poster is an exploration of the commodification of sex. How far can an advertisement go before it becomes explicit and uses our bodies to sell products. When people please themselves, it is a private moment and oftentimes is embarrassing to talk about. I wanted to design an advertisement that celebrates our sexualities while being a tasteful double entendre. Love and lust doesn’t have to be between two people, but simply be taking care of yourself.

Shock Value
This poster explores the interactivity between band and audience at a concert. The concept revolves around how a live concert experience might be enhanced if audience members were able to feel the vibrations of the musicians and their instruments (using a theoretical sense-enhancing head band) for a better love and appreciation of the show.

This poster was designed to show the intricacies of the specific words Love and Lust. Since these words can be used in multiple ways, including out of a sexual context (specifically Love), this poster gives the impression that contextualization is important.
